About Us

Mutual Mills started over ten years ago in a huge mill complex in Heywood, Lancashire. The building has 295,000 square feet of clean, dry storage over six floors. We quickly became a highly regarded palletised storage facility due to our flexible capacity and simple, competitive rates. Accessibility is excellent thanks to the proximity to the M62.

We later expanded to provide our customers with an efficient fast order picking and product handling service which allowed our customers to concentrate on their core business and leave their storage requirements to us!

In 2008, we acquired our Birmingham facility in order to expand into heavy storage. With high clearance bays and multiple 25T, 5T and 3T cranes, it has proved an ideal heavy or industrial storage facility in which we have housed numerous bulky items such as transformers and turbines on short, medium and long term rentals. Again, it's location is ideal thanks to it's proximity to Birmingham City Center and to the motorway network (M6, M5, M42) being only 1 mile from the A38. Mutual Mills now have the widest range of storage available.
